I think the only thing that could possibly make this glitter penguin in a buttoned up white ensemble better is if he were making jazz hands with his little flippers. Maybe I’ll find that holy grail of Christmas ornaments this year.

This tree represents a personal victory. I’ve been looking for a Christmas tree for three days, going to 4 different tree lots, a Home Depot and a Lowes before finding a tree under 7 feet tall. What’s with the apartment dweller hate, DC tree guys? Also, I think my cat would like the tree to leave immediately. She gives it a very wide berth.

  1. Aw, I love that little guy! SF is all about little trees. I actually went to a tree lot and picked one out the other day, but didn’t have my car with me. Sadly, the Christmas Tree Fund has now gone to the MacBook Repair Benefit, but definitely next year! In the meantime I’ll keep my eye out for beglittered jazz-hand penguins. ūüėČ
